TECHNICAL PROGRAMME:
Q: When would the presentation schedule be released?
A: The tentative program (presentation schedule) will be advised by mid-June 2025. Please be advised that the technical programme starts on Monday, 7 July morning and ends on Thursday, 10 July 2025.
The Opening Ceremony and the Welcome Reception will be held on Monday, 7 July, and the Closing Ceremony and Farewell Reception will be held on Thursday, 11 July 2025.
An Industry Tour will be available on Friday, 11 July 2025.
Kindly keep the above dates in mind to make your travel arrangements!
Q: Is it possible to buy the tickets for the Gala Dinner?
A: The Gala Dinner will be on Wednesday, 9 July, at a walking distance from the main venue. The gala dinner tickets can be purchased during your registration to ICSV31. Please be advised that the tickets will be sold on first-come, first-served basis!
PAPERS:
Q: If I submitted a peer-reviewed Paper and want to publish it this year somewhere else, should I withdraw it from the system and upload it next year again? Can it still be submitted as peer-reviewed?
A: If the withdrawn paper is submitted to a different conference between now and ICSV31, a new abstract and new paper must be submitted.
Q: Is the Paper published if the conference is cancelled? Scopus / WoS?
A: Electronic versions of all accepted full papers will be submitted for publication in "Scopus" and the "Web of Science".
PRESENTATIONS:
Q: Is there a template for the presentation materials?
A: No, there is no template or guidelines for the presentation slides. However, the file format must be either PPT or PDF, and it is strongly advised to make your slides in 16:9 size (instead of 4:3). Please note that the length of the presentation is approximately 12-15 minutes (with 5 minutes for Q&A).
Q: How long is the presentation?
A: Maximum 10-15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
Q: Should I bring my laptop for the presentation?
A: No! Please bring your presentation on a flash drive (USB). There will be a laptop in each meeting room to be used for the presentation. You can check your USB with the technician in Speakers' Ready Room. The presentation must be in English, in PPT or PDF.
REGISTRATION:
Q: What is the deadline for Early Registration?
A: The deadline for Early Registration is 31 March 2025. At least one author of each paper must be registered by 31 March 2025.
Q: How can I register after the Late Registration deadline?
A: The online registration system will close on 10 June 2025. Any additional registration can be made at the on-site registration desk from 6 July 2025.
Q: What is included in the fee of accompanying person?
A: The accompanying person fee is designed for family members such as spouse, partner, daughter, son, etc. It is not for those who wish to come to an ICSV as delegates to participate in the technical programme. This accompanying person fee is set to cover an additional accompanying person event such as a guided tour of Seoul or Incheon, attendance at the Monday night reception, opening and closing ceremonies and PCO processing.
POSTERS:
Q: Is it possible to present the poster without the in-person attendance?
A: No, it is not possible. Authors must stand next to their posters at the scheduled time and explain their poster to interested delegates nearby. It is necessary to be present on-site during your poster session.
